Golden Valley Firefighter/Paramedics responding to an emergency medical call Friday evening about 6:45 PM had their response cut short when they came upon a car versus motorcycle accident on Hwy-68 at Houck Road. Captain Rob Arnold reporting saying to his crew: “It looks like there was a crash that just happened” in front of them as the dust settled. Crews immediately called for a second GVFD unit to take the initial call and then reported the car versus motorcycle accident with multiple persons on the ground. In all, two persons on the motorcycle were critically injured, both transported to KRMC, and the passenger was later flown to a Las Vegas trauma center. ADOT crews diverted traffic for over an hour while DPS investigated the incident.
